Heart Rate Wildly Inaccurate. dewd2 over 3 years ago. I recently upgraded to the 6x Sapphire and immediately noticed my heart rate data was way off. Prior to getting the 6x I used a 5x for a couple years and a 630 before that. With the 630 I used an HRM Run strap and kept it with the 5x until I was confident in the 5x accuracy (it was always

Garmin Forerunner 735xt user here. I've noticed the past couple of days that the HRM Pro wil not send any heart rate data to my watch after open water swims. I didn't have this problem before, is it some software update issue? Battery level is good and latest software version is 7.1. It works fine for cycling and running.

Pulse Oximeter. Your watch has a wrist-based pulse oximeter to gauge the peripheral saturation of oxygen in your blood (SpO2). As your altitude increases, the level of oxygen in your blood can decrease. Knowing your oxygen saturation can help you determine how your body is acclimating to high altitudes for alpine sport and expedition. Heart rate zones are based on percentage, not BPM. The only BPM measurements you need are max heart rate, lactate threshold, and resting heart rate to do heart rate training. You can do a little math and adjust your zone percentages accordingly. Master reset. Re-enabling Heart-rate sensor. Upgrade to 19.74. Downgrade to 15.2. Updating again to 19.2. upgrading to 19.74. Wrist heart rate does not work. Running uphill out of breath, it shows 107. Started working once after 20 minutes, this morning after 3 hours. Tried to losen the belt, change wrist, move the watch in different places on the wrist, stop the activity for a short time or defintely to resume a new one. Nothing worked.
Late to the party, but yes, my 3-month old Fenix 6 has never been even remotely accurate. I replaced a Forerunner 935 with it and used to run with the FR935 on one wrist and the Fenix 6 on the other for comparison. Although the Fenix 6 is generally better in almost every way, the HR is up to 40 BPM higher than the FR935.

It will automatically connect when you start an activity and use the HR data from the strap. FYI - you need to moisten the pads on the strap to activate it when you put it on (assuming you're not already sweaty). I typically just wipe some spit on them, but if that grosses you out you can buy gel that is purpose made. 4. Nesf.
