Justrecently I had condensation building up inside and noticed that the ECON light on the climate control unit stayed on all the time. Nothing I could do would turn it off. Anyway I took it into the local VAG specialist (not dealer) and they told me it was a failed climate control unit. Fair enough, but the quote wasn't. £450 for a new unit NOT
DoI need to reset the "basic settings" to fix this? I have a Vag-com setup and an electronic version of the factory service manual. Vag-com says to "log in" to the controller before you can set basic settings and that the login codes are in the manual. The factory

Cananyone point me in the right direction on a problem I am having with my 2001 Audi A4 climate control. If I leave the car out of the garage overnight particularly when it's cold the fan will not work on the climate control when I start it in the morning. Then later on in the day it will start working perfectly.

Thisis a really nice upgrade for a B8 A4/A5/S4/S5/Q5. The updated 3G+ MMI includes access to google maps, streaming bluetooth audio, a refreshed user interface, piano black face exterior and chrome switches and knobs.
